We are proud to announce our own Lisa Walsh, RN, CMSRN, as the 2016 Kiwanis Nurse Recognition Award recipient. Lisa, a Cochran graduate, has given 17 years of dedicated service to St. John’s Riverside Hospital. She continuously leads by example with her clinical expertise and extraordinary bedside care. As a seasoned nurse on 5 South, Lisa is a preceptor for new graduates and a mentor to all staff. When asked to describe Lisa, her Clinical Nurse Manager Donna Pascarelli said, “Lisa is truly a dedicated, committed, caring, patient focused nurse. She is a privilege to work with.”
Lisa was selected for the Kiwanis award because she consistently enhances her patient’s quality of life, which is an outstanding and distinguished service to the nursing profession.
