A Message from Ron Corti President/CEO St. John's Riverside Hospital:
I am pleased to inform you that we have received accreditation from the American College of Graduate Medical Education for our Emergency Medicine Residency Program. The Emergency Medicine Residency Program is a 3-year program that will accommodate 10 residents per year. It is yet another historical first in Medical Education for St. John's as well as the city of Yonkers!
This achievement is a testimonial to the dedication of our faculty and emergency medicine staff. Dr. Mark Silberman and Dr. Raffaele Milizia worked closely with the Medical Education Department to establish a solid foundation for this project. They recruited Dr. Tiffany Murano, an experienced Program Director, whom together with Dr. Joel Park, designed and implemented the program. They were supported by V. Lisa Solivan, our newest Program Coordinator.
Our medical education program has continued to grow because of the support and dedication of everyone in our St. John’s community. Together, we will ensure quality, compassionate healthcare for generations to come.
