Minimize   Designated Institutional Official (DIO)
The program at St. John’s Riverside Hospital has several levels of oversight. There is a Designated Institutional Official (DIO), who has the authority and responsibility for the oversight and administration of the Graduate Medical Education programs. The DIO maintains appointment on the Medical Board and chairs the Graduate Medical Education Committee (GMEC). He also serves as a mentor to the residents.
