St. John's Riverside Hospital was presented with a grant to support the implementation of Green Roofs at St. John's Riverside Hospital. “The green roof tops are designed to reduce the hospital’s energy consumption, improve our energy efficiency, and slow local storm water run-off, “ said Ronald J. Corti, President & CEO of St. John’s Riverside Hospital. “As a hospital, we are also interested in the intangible benefits including increased patient healing and a better environment and experience for patients, staff and visitors,” he said. We pride ourselves on our ‘green initiative’ focus and this seemed a natural next step in our efforts.”
