The program objectives are to
· Identify elements of historical perspectives of holistic Nursing.
· Describe the concept of self-care and self-reflection in nursing practice.
· Participate in at least one self-care modality.
· Discuss a vision of the future for holistic nursing.
· Describe ways of introducing holistic philosophy and modalities into nursing
education and practice.
· Complete a self-assessment survey on levels of stress.
The conference will be Friday, October 21, 2011 at the Radisson Hotel; One Radisson Plaza; New Rochelle, N.Y. 10801 from 8:30am – 4:00pm.
