Therapeutic Touch Workshop - Basic Level

St. John's Riverside Hospital's Institute for Health, Education and Research and the Department of Holistic Care are offering a Therapeutic Touch Workshop.  The workshop will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2012 and Thursday, May 24, 2012 from 8:30am – 3:30pm.  Therapeutic Touch (TT) is an energy healing modality that is derived from the laying on of hands and has been taught to thousands of health care professionals.  Research has shown that TT helps reduce a person's pain and anxiety.  The instructor will be Gayle Newshan, PhD, NP, Director of Holistic Care who is a longtime therapeutic touch practitioner and teacher.

Pre-registration is required.  The cost of this workshop is $150.00 and $100.00 for students & seniors.  Class will be held at St. John's Riverside Hospital; Andrus Pavilion; 967 North Broadway; Yonkers, N.Y. 10701 on 8 West.
