The Commission on Cancer (CoC) of the American College of Surgeons has granted St. John’s Riverside Hospital its Outstanding Achievement Award.  This award is given to a select group of 106 currently accredited and newly accredited cancer programs across the United States that were surveyed in 2011.

St. John’s Riverside Hospital is hosting a “Jeans and Jewels” fundraising event for the benefit of our Cancer Services
on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at 6:00pm .  “Jeans and Jewels”, coordinated in association with Bloomingdale’s Department Store in White Plains, N.Y., will be an exciting evening which includes a fashion show, silent auction and special guest speaker.  It will take place at Knollwood Country Club; 200 Knollwood Road; Elmsford, N.Y. 10523.

In addition, on May 19th you will be able to participate in the Bloomingdale’s “Shopping Works Wonders” event where 10% of all purchases made by supporters of St. John’s Riverside Hospital will be donated to the hospital. St. John’s Riverside Hospital has achieved Full Departmental American College of Radiology (ACR) Gold Seal of Accreditation.  The ACR gold seal of accreditation represents the highest level of image quality and patient safety. It is awarded only to facilities meeting ACR Practice Guidelines and Technical Standards after a peer-review evaluation by  who are experts in the field.
