Over the last year, St. John's Riverside has achieved some major milestones including gaining approval to open Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, being certified as a Stroke Center by The New York State Department of Health, receiving the prestigious American Hospital Association Nova Award for our Yonkers Childhood Health Initiative, opening our eagerly anticipated, new private Maternity Suites and having a number of our physicians ranked as "Best Doctors" by New York Magazine.
At St. John's our commitment to the community is to be there when you need us most, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In maintaining this promise we are planning for the future of care at St. John's and have continued our capital improvement program to aid us in our work to provide care for our community at the highest level and to the best of our ability.
The focus of these improvements will be directed towards the creation of a new operating room suite, the expansion of our cardiac service offerings, the formation of a cancer treatment center, and for the expansion and relocation of our Cochran School of Nursing.
