The Institute for Health Education and Research at St. John’s Riverside Hospital, in association with Reeham Z. Neshiwat, PhD of Westchester Coder Inc., is offering a Certified Electronic Health Report Specialist Program. Access to health information is changing the ways doctors care for their patients. Doctors now have access to patient’s medical history, surgeries, allergies to medicines, and recent doctor’s visits all at the press of a button. This recent technology that intertwines health information from a history of sources is known as an electronic health record (EHR).
Classes will be Tuesday and Thursday for five weeks from 5:30pm – 10:30pm beginning Tuesday, May 14, 2013. Class will be held at St. John's Riverside Hospital, Andrus Pavilion; 967 North Broadway; Yonkers, N.Y. 10701. The cost for this class is $1850. Registration begins Tuesday, April 23, 2013.
